KNOX GRAMMAR SCHOOL – SENIOR STUDENTS’ ACADEMY

Project Details

Knox relocated its senior student learning facilities into one building to improve the learning and teaching environment. The project was approved in the Land & Environment Court and commenced construction in August 2013. Prior to its commencement, a major Council owned stormwater pipe was diverted around the proposed site requiring registration within a relocated easement. The project was completed in July 2015. The building includes an iconic tower, cafeteria/commercial kitchen, general learning areas for English and Science, science laboratories, a 148-seat lecture theatre, and multi-purpose hall. Peripheral to the building are hard and soft landscaped areas trafficable by both pedestrians and vehicles. EPM Projects provided end-to-end project management commencing with managing a feasibility study, assembling the project team, managing the processes to obtain design and the statutory development and building approvals through the Land & Environment Court, tendering, and contract administration of the construction contract.
