CRANBROOK – STAGE 2 REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Project Details

This project involved decantation works to facilitate relocating staff and students from the War Memorial Hall and Mansfield Buildings; demolition of the War Memorial Hall and Mansfield Buildings; construction of the new Centenary Building, inclusive of chapel, learning spaces, dining commons, performance spaces, a theatre and a multifunction hall; excavation of Hordern Oval to facilitate the construction of a sub-surface car park and new Aquatic & Fitness Centre; new access driveway to the proposed car park, accessed off the northern arm of Rose Bay Avenue; use of the internal driveway between Victoria Road and Rose Bay Avenue to accommodate an on campus ‘kiss and ride’ facility to reduce traffic congestion around the school; construction of a new Hordern Oval Groundsman’s facility; reinstatement of the Hordern Oval as a playing field; and associated works including landscaping and general site improvements (such as minor public domain works. The project was declared to State Significant by the Minister for Planning & Environment. EPM Projects provided end-to-end project management commencing with formalising agreements with the project team, managing the processes to obtain design and the statutory development and building approvals, tendering, assessment and recommendation of tenders, and contract administration of the construction contract.
