Project Details

Barker College is currently transitioning to a fully co-educational school by 2022, and consequentially requires a significant expansion to its current classroom capacity. In late 2019, EPM was engaged to manage the final stage of Barker’s expansion of the Junior School, the Junior School East extension. Junior School East will involve the demolition of tennis courts and creation of a 3 storey extension housing 10 new classrooms and 27 covered parking spaces. The project has been designed to allow seamless integration with existing adjacent classrooms.

EPM was engaged to manage finalisation of design and statutory approvals, tendering, and contract administration during construction. Works commenced in March 2020 and will be completed in readiness for Term 1, 2021.
