STOCKLAND – SYDNEY HEAD OFFICE

Project Details

Stockland is one of Australia’s most progressive property investment and development organisations, and is leading the way in the design, development and management of large scale projects across Australia. EPM was appointed by Stockland to manage the design and fitout of its new corporate head office in Sydney. Stockland relocated from their old offices at 157 Liverpool Street to 133 Castlereagh Street, Sydney in April 2007. The new office accommodates over 600 people across eight floors with a total net lettable area of approximately 9,700 square metres. Stockland made this project a ‘showcase’ by promoting initiatives to achieve a 6 Star Green Star and 4.5 Star ABGR rating for the tenancy fitout. The main feature of the fitout involved the construction of an interconnecting stair that traverses all the floors to promote connectivity and encourage collaboration between each of the business units. The project designers were Bligh Voller Nield with VOS undertaking the services whilst Arup provided advice on the integration of ecologically sustainable development (ESD) principles. EPM also managed Stage 2 of the project that involved the refurbishment and fitout of 3,000 square metres of retail space into specialised project and meeting spaces. This was completed in December 2007.
