KNOX GRAMMAR SCHOOL – SENIOR STUDENTS’ ACADEMY

Project Details

Knox Grammar School was founded in 1924 and has since operated as an educational establishment for boys aged from 4 to 18. The School currently has two campuses located in Wahroonga, the Preparatory School and the Seniors School, both on land which is owned by the Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (NSW).

Since embarking on the journey to purpose design and construct the Knox Senior School Academy in 2010, the facility now stands completed. The facility is a testament to, and example of, the continuing endeavours of Knox Grammar to gain local, national and an increasing international reputation for engaging with, contributing to, and in several instances, re-shaping the way we think about schooling and learning.

The Knox Senior School Academy covers 4 levels and includes general learning areas for English, Science Laboratories, a 148 Seat Lecture Theatre, Library, Administration and Staff Areas, External Terrace Area, Multi-Purpose Hall, Commercial Kitchen and Servery, and an iconic Tower. All these functional areas within the facility have been designed to enhance leaning experiences of students and the School Community. Since coming into commission at Term 3 of 2015, The Knox Senior School Academy has delighted all members of the School Community and will continue to play an important role in the academic and social growth of the School Community and the fabric of the campus well into the future of Knox Grammar.
