On recommendation from Sophos Pty Ltd, the Illawarra Family Medical Centre approached EPM to undertake the feasibility of a state of the art medical centre in the CBD of Wollongong. Subsequent to this study, EPM was appointed as development and project managers to manage the design, construction and fit-out of the new complex from end to end. The time constraints were such that a fast track program was implemented which included undertaking an "early works" building program whilst the fitout documentation was being finalised.
The Illawarra Family Medical Centre is a landmark building in Crown Street West in Wollongong. It consists of six independent GP practises together with a large pharmacy, radiology and psychology facilities and extensive underground parking. It is located 200 metres from Wollongong hospital.
