Project Details

Healius is one of Australia’s leading listed healthcare companies. In mid-2015, Healius engaged EPM to assist with finalising the lease and project manage the integrated base building refurbishment and office fitout (of medium to high quality) of 3 ½ floors of 203 Pacific Highway, St Leonards (i.e. approximately 4300m²) on levels 4-7, to function as its new head office. This included new central stairs linking all four levels of the tenancy. There were other tenancies within the 11 storey building, which required careful management and consideration of tenant requirements during construction. The time by which the project needed to be completed was constrained by the expiry of several other premises leases, and therefore required a fast-track approach to design and construction.

EPM managed the assembly of a team of design consultants, preparation of documentation, tendering, and tender assessment, whilst obtaining the Complying Development Certificates required for demolition and construction. Following award, EPM managed the Head Contractor, as well as various Principal’s Trade Contractors during construction. The project was completed successfully and Healius occupied the premises during April 2016. EPM also managed the relocation of Healius from several other premises.
