Project Details

HCF was formed in 1932 and has grown to become one of Australia’s largest combined registered private health fund and life insurance organisations. HCF has engaged EPM to manage the design and fitout of a roll-out of new Dental Centres as part of it’s national expansion.

In late 2015, HCF engaged EPM for project management of the design and delivery of HCF Brookvale, which is approximately 2500m² in size with dental centre, 17 surgeries / consulting rooms, staff room and amenities, as well as eyecare centre. There are two separate entries for the Dental and Eyecare reception areas. The fitout included a new raised access floor with underfloor services to the surgeries. The site was located within a larger construction site of the new Westfield Warringah Mall expansion, with a portion of the building being constructed by the Lessor concurrent to the fitout project. The program was constrained by the need to relocate from an existing Dental Centre premises. EPM managed the assembly of the design consultants, design development, tendering, tender assessment, and obtained the Complying Development Certificate required for construction. Following award of the contract, EPM managed the Fitout Contractor, as well as coordination with the Lessor for completion of the Lessor’s works. The project was completed and opened for trading in November 2016.
